There's some touch up work that still needs to be done....but the kitchen is slowly but surely coming together! Appliances should be here in a week or so. Soon we will be ready for visitors!!!!!!

The move is over.....the stress has just begun!!!

Well I am officially "moved" into the house. Although I am not living there yet, all of my belongings are packed in boxes and sitting in the garage. I have been able to put SOME things away like my clothes, purses, shoes, etc. I wouldn't allow those to sit in the garage. he he We are making SO much progress on the house every day. We spent ALL day yesterday and most of today hanging new ceiling fans and new light fixtures. I will say that the scaffolding needed to put up the ceiling fans was quite interesting! Poor Andrew didn't enjoy the view from 10 feet up. I think I am taking tomorrow off to lay by the pool. he he But I will update pictures soon.

ALL PACKED!!!!

I am OFFICIALLY all packed and ready for the UHaul truck so I can get this move over with!! I spent 5 hours today packing and cleaning so that everything is ready for Saturday's BIG MOVE! I have put all of the boxes and tubs in what used to be my eat-in-kitchen so they are all in one place. I am leaving the furniture for the moving men!!!!!!! I wouldn't consider myself a "pack rat" but I will say that I have a lot of crap! I can't imagine what it's like for people who don't throw anything away!!!

Farewell Dinner

Jody organized a farewell dinner for me at my FAVORITE restaurant, Mia Familigia, in Cornelius. Lots of my friends showed up to enjoy a delicious dinner!!!! Although service was TERRIBLE....the company was GREAT!!!!!!! Here are some pics of my most FAVORITE girls!!!!!

Gosh I am going to miss working and talking with these girls!!!!!!!!!! But don't worry....I will be back to visit often!!!!!!

Officially Finished with School!

I am officially finished with school and am all moved out of Mooresville Intermediate School. It doesn't really feel "real" yet. It just feels like I am on summer vacation. I'm not sure when it will all hit me....but I'm sure it will and I will be very sad about leaving. I have met and worked with such amazing people in the past three years! Thanks to EVERYONE for your support and encouragement!!!!!!!!!

The Girls

Andrew and I traveled to WV for Kyle & Mera's wedding over Memorial Day Weekend. It was SO nice to get to FINALLY see my girls!!! I am HOPING to be able to spend more time with them this summer since I will be "unemployed" and in Wheeling OFTEN working on wedding plans!

As the plans continue to progress...I have scheduled our engagement pictures in Charleston, SC for July 7th.  Captured by Kate will be taking our pictures.  You can check out her work at www.capturedbykate.com.  We are going to meet in the Battery and walk around in downtown Charleston and HOPEFULLY get some beautiful pictures!
