Adventures in Golfing...

I am learning how to golf! I have always enjoyed being out on the course with Drew because it's SO peaceful and quiet out there but now I am REALLY enjoying being out there! I have hit balls for two days and I am FINALLY starting to make some real progress! Here are some pics of my clubs and my new shoes! (Drew refuses to take any action shots of me while on the course! Apparently it's embarrassing or something?)

Gone beachin'...

I know I have been slacking in keeping this updated about our exciting life (ha ha) but to be honest there hasn't been anything blog worthy since our Vegas trip! We are off today to Charleston for the night and the boys are golfing the Ocean Course on Kiawah tomorrow and Catherine, William, and I will head further south to Hilton Head! It will be a FUN FILLED vacation since the entire Gardill clan will be there!!! See ya'll when we get back!

Third Grade....here I come!

Well, I figured that a post was LONG overdue since it's been MONTHS! I wanted to update everyone on my latest news. I was hired by Giles County Schools as a third grade teacher for this coming school year! I will be teaching at Eastern Elementary. I am SUPER excited to be back with the younger children even though I have thoroughly enjoyed being in high school! I went by the school on Friday to meet the teachers and see the school and it is going to be quite an adjustment to be back in an elementary classroom. The school has just begun a HUGE renovation project so we will be moving all around when school starts to avoid being in the way.

I am SO excited for the school year to start and to meet my new students!

Weekend Highlights

Filled with coloring Easter eggs, Easter egg hunts, Chris' birthday celebration, a visit from the Easter bunny, walks in the wagon, and LOTS of candy.

Happy 28th Birthday to me!

My birthday was last Wednesday and I just wanted to thank EVERYONE for the birthday wishes and gifts!!!! Drew took me to a DELICIOUS sushi dinner on my actual birthday and then he and I travelled home to WV this weekend to continue celebrating with the family. He even decorated the house for me while I was at work!

Elton John & Billy Joel

Andrew and I had a FABULOUS time in Charlotte this past weekend. We got to see Elton John and Billy Joel on their Face to Face Tour. I must say that the concert was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! They rocked OUT for over three hours! It was truly surreal!!!!!!!

A Magic Carpet Ride!

Andrew and I finally have rugs in our home!!!!! It's still a work in progress because we still need a couple more....but we found SO many beautiful rugs on Saturday at Greenfront.
