P-A-R-T-Y!!!!!!!

After the shower, Catherine organized a pool party at my parent's house for just us girls (and William of course!) We kicked my parents out of the house for the night so they had a "date night" in Pittsburgh. We had lots of snacks and FUN drinks! Catherine even made little favors for us!

As it begins to get dark, Catherine shares a little something that she has up her sleeve! She walks to the garage and brings out this!!!!

Catherine tells us all that she has set up a scavenger hunt around GLEN DALE and we have to ride BICYCLES to retrieve clues to get us to the final destination! Here are some entertaining pictures of the event!

I had an AMAZING weekend with my girls!! I had Mommies toting their little ones around....girls driving from far away.....girls bringing SNACKS and DRINKS for us all! I am SUCH a lucky girl to have such amazing friends!!!!

Last Saturday, we had my bridal shower at Wheeling Country Club. I was SO lucky that 9 out of my 10 bridesmaids were able to be there with me on that day! (My cousin, Rachel, had her baby girl just days before the shower so she wasn't able to attend even though she wanted to come!) Andrew and I got BEAUTIFUL gifts! I have been busy busy finding everything a place in our home.

Country fun!

Last night, Ashley, Gina, Casey, and his Intern, Cody, and I all went to Post Gazette to see Montgomery Gentry and Toby Keith! We had a very fun tailgate for a couple of hours and then headed into the show for a GREAT concert!!!! Thanks Girls for such a great time!!!!!!

SO lucky!

On Tuesday, I had my bridal portraits. I was SO lucky to have 4 of my bridesmaids there with me on such a big day! Catherine (and William), Ashley, and Amanda all came with me to get my hair done. William entertained the entire salon! Brianne (and Emma) met us at C & S to help me smile pretty for the camera! I don't know what I would have done without Ashley and Amanda because the photographer had them running ALL over the place! They were fanning me when I was about to faint....bringing me water, Diet Coke, nuts (HA HA), etc. Ashley's favorite job was crawling up under my dress to fix the skirt! Amanda was the light catcher because she is so tall! Catherine and Brianne continued their roles as Mother's and entertained those two children who were little angels the entire time!!!!! I can't THANK YOU GIRLS enough for helping me with everything that day! I will never forget what a great time I had!!!!!!!!! Love ya'll!!!

Our Engagement Pictures have arrived!!!!!

Andrew and I are SO excited because our engagement pictures are finally up!! I will say that my hair wasn't frizzy like I thought it was! FINALLY!!!!!

This past weekend I went to NC with two goals in mind 1.) to visit my friends AND 2.) to pick up my wedding gown!!! It is now safe and sound in the house and I can stop worrying about whether or not it will be in by the time my portraits roll around.

Trip to Charleston, SC

Andrew and I went to our favorite southern city, Charleston, SC for a long weekend to get our engagement pictures and to have a little getaway. The weather was GREAT!! Probably the most comfortable I have ever been on a summer visit to Charleston! I actually could wear my hair down for the pictures!! Shocking...I know! We'll see when the pictures arrive what my hair actually looked like. Andrew kept telling me that it looked great!

We enjoyed drinks at the rooftop of our hotel every night.

Andrew even brought some work to do and took some time to do some work and reading. I, on the other hand, just relaxed in my robe and slippers.

We spent one afternoon at the beach to check out the Morris Island Lighthouse. Cool lighthouse but nothing real impressive. The walk on the beach was enjoyable!!!
